But yesterday I went out because I have become a nail guinea pig! Future is actually learning to become a nail stylist so I am her model to practice on.
We ended up being fairly late, me 1 hour, her 2 hours, but I didn't mind I just did some errands that I was just going to once she arrived anyway~ I picked up concealer (cause I was out of it!) and two pieces of cheap clothing as staples for my wardrobe, they were only £5 each ~ And I'm glad cause I checked my bank and there was more left in there than I thought so I'm definately on track to pay my parents back my last payment on my payday! So that another load off my mind
Anyway! Onto meeting up with Future. We headed out to where her nail salon work was, which was in an area of Birmingham I'd never actually been to before so it was like a mini adventure. All the staff there are Thai too so was funny listen to Future babble on in her own language for once. And the staff were all lovely anyway! They loved my baby soft hands (how they described them) and my eyelashes (several customers who came in also complimented my eyelashes) But I had assumed Future had done some practice alread and we'd be there only 1 hour or 2.....I ended up being there almost 6 hours! It was the first time she'd ever done nails on a person before so she took her time to make sure she did it right, rather than rush and get it wrong. Which I'm pretty grateful for so it's not too bad (it did mess up the afternoon plans a little but I can rearrange them).
However by the end of it I was getting to the end of my patience a little and while she did my nails and shaped them....I ended up painting them XD (I was also being fussy so it was my own fault!) But Future did add some gems to them which I wouldn't have thought of so they ended up pretty!

They are short and practical as obviously I can't have anything too over the top or bright and long because of my job. (but I am allowed to get my nails done at least!)
Next time I go there will probably be for Future to practice doing in fills! and she's already told me she'll be doing my nails for when we go to Expo too, so that will be nice having ones that match my cosplay!

I actually also wanted to wear lenses that day but I only got 3 hours sleep the night before so my eyes werent having any of it!

I ended up playing safe again with my outfit. At the moment I'm cleaning my wardrobe and even slower getting more things in it. It doesn't help that I've also been losing weight due to being on ushering alot at work (I do alot of movement!) so it means on the rarity that I do buy something I either have to get it for the sake of not wearing it long until its too big >< or buying it so it will fit me soon but not yet?
Under these circumstances I realised.....I really don't have many lower halfs for outfits? I own a few skirts, a pair of leggings and pair of jeans. And even when I wear the skirts I still don't have the confidence to have my legs out.....yet dont own many pairs of tights? So I think I really need to put off buying tops and dresses and maybe focus on at least having a few more bottoms. Which yesterday I actually brought some black jeans ready to wear once I lose a little more~
So yeah sorry about the randomness of this post! I have a few others in the works that I REALLY need to get off my ass and write so I can schedule them up to post while I'm working this week (got a 5 day week in the first time in forever xD!)
